Avondale Guesthouse is a Bed and Breakfast (B&B) establishment and is located on the B6105 Road in Glossopdale, it offers you all the advantages of being close to local amenities, and yet is still on the edge of open countryside.
The market town of Glossop is surrounded on three sides by the Peak District National Park, with Manchester on the fourth side, it is easily reached by road and rail, combining the convenience of easy access from major towns and cities with all the attractions of the Peak District National Park.

Local attractions include the medieval village of Old Glossop with its 12th Century Cross, the picturesque Longdendale Valley with 5 reservoirs and the Longdendale Trail.

Avondale Guesthouse and B&B is a stone house with many period features. It comprises internal double, twin and family rooms, all with en-suite facilities.

'Torside Cottage' is a large annexe room comprising double or small family accommodation with full en-suite facilities.
We normally allow pets to stay in the annex with their owners at no extra charge.

A good home cooked Full English Breakfast is served in the feature dining room which has a traditional black range fire place and a conservatory balcony from which you have magnificent views of the Peak District.

Another more modern advantage of staying at Avondale Guesthouse and (B&B) is that high speed wireless broadband is avalable in all rooms at no extra cost.
