Avondale Guesthouse and B&B Dining room and Kitchen
.Avondale Guesthouse and B&B is an Edwardian house and
the dining room is sympathetic to this era. It is on two levels
and leads to an enclosed balcony which houses a table for two
with beautiful views over the Pennine way.
The bottom level boasts an original Baby Manchester black range
which is in full working order. When lit for breakfast in the
colder winter months it adds to the homely ambience of the house.
The breakfast itself is second to none and every effort is taken
to accommodate special dietary needs if given due notice. Apart
from the freshly cooked full English breakfast there is a large
variety of starters to choose from including cereals, fresh
fruit, yoghurts etc. In winter hot porridge is added to the
starter choices.
